This car came from the factory in San Jose on 2-8-67 with a 428 Pl Engine, four speed transmission and sporting its Nightmist Blue Paint and Black interior.
The car came equipped with the following options:
- Extra Cooling Package
- Courtesy Lights
- Fold Down Rear Seat
- Power Steering
- Power Front Disc Brakes
- Interior Décor Group
- Heavy Duty Battery
- Four original 1967 10 spoke wheels (note valve stem location).
This is a two owner car as reflected in the Shelby Registry and documented by the Marti Report. The best description one could give this automobile is a “DRIVEN TRAILER QUEEN”. To protect the matching numbers integrity of the drive train the owner removed it’s original engine and set it aside so as not to damage it. Installed in the car now is another 428 Cobra Jet engine that was completely rebuilt with performance in mind. For complete engine details please inquire.
The transmission and rear end have been completely gone through. The original block, original heads, fuel pump and coil all come with the car.
The exterior of the car is gorgeous and has no dings, dents or scratches. While the paint is not “trailer queen” it certainly is close to it. The underside is clean as a whistle for a “driven” car.
The interior of the car appears to be original and reflects the same appearance as the exterior.
The only thing that the car appears to be missing is the correct shifter (which we are in the midst of obtaining).
